The SEC Party Operations contact list is a database containing primary and secondary Operations contacts for each Party. The people listed should have an operational role within the Party; the main SEC contacts are used for general communication purposes.
SEC Parties can use this database to quickly find Operational contacts within other SEC Parties in order to resolve issues.
The SEC Party Operations Contact List
The SEC Party Operations contact list has replaced the Critical Alerts Supplier contact list. It contains operational contacts which Parties should use in the case of a Change of Supply from a DCC User to a Non-DCC User.
Please inform the SECAS Helpdesk of any changes your SEC Party contact details. This list is only effective if kept up-to-date.
The SEC Party Operations contact list is published securely on the SEC website and must only be used for the purpose intended. It is only available to SEC Parties. If you are supplying contact details which identify a colleague, please ensure that you have their consent to share their contact details.
Managing Critical Alerts after DCC User to Non-DCC User churn
There are still some Suppliers who are not Live DCC Users (including recent new entrants). As the Smart Meter Rollout gathers speed there is a greater risk that these Non-DCC Users will gain Smart Meters as a result of Change of Supplier.
As there is no way for non DCC-Users to receive alerts directly when a customer’s supply changes from a DCC User to a non-DCC User, the (losing) Supplier (DCC User) whose security credentials remain on a meter will continue to receive any Critical Alerts sent by that meter.
