Date raised

Stage

Implementation date
Targeted for 07/11/2024 (Nov 2024 SEC Release)
Latest update
On 6 March 2024, SECAS presented the Business Requirements to the Working Group. SECAS will develop the legal text associated with the modification before issuing the Refinement Consultation.
What is the issue?
The DCC must publish indicative Charging Statements and budgets each quarter, setting out its indicative view of the Charges due by SEC Parties across the upcoming Regulatory Years. This information needs to enable Parties to estimate the Service Charges they would need to pay for the DCC’s Mandatory Business Services.
The Proposer considers that the requirements do not go far enough in helping SEC Parties understand the costs underlying the DCC’s Charging Statement and budgets. They believe additional information is required to support Parties in reviewing Charges.
Who is impacted?
DCC
Suppliers
Network Parties
What SEC documents are affected?
Section J 'Charges'
Section K 'Charging Methodology'
