Latest update
This modification was implemented on 29 November 2020 as part of the November 2020 SEC Release.
What is the issue?
Electricity Distributors are eligible users of Service Reference Variant (SRV) 7.7 ‘Read Auxiliary Load Switch Data’. This was implemented through SECMP0025 ‘Electricity Network Party Access to Load Switching Information’. However, the ‘Service Request Matrix’ within SEC Appendix AD ‘DCC User Interface Specification’ (DUIS) and the DCC User Interface Services Schedule were inadvertently not updated when SECMP0025 was implemented.
What is the solution?
This modification proposes to make an amendment to the ‘Service Request Matrix’ within the DUIS to show Electricity Distributors as an eligible user of SRV7.7 and align this table with Section 3.8.92.1 of the DUIS. This would prevent any confusion for Parties seeking to understand the list of eligible users for SRV7.7.
The DCC User Interface Services Schedule will also be updated to show Electricity Distributors as an eligible user of SRV7.7.
Who is impacted?
Electricity Network Parties
