The 2023 Smart Meter Device Assurance Sub-Committee (SMDASC) elections are now open, and the following seats are up for nomination:
- One Large Supplier
- One Electricity Network
- One Other SEC Party GSME Manufacturer
- One Other SEC Party ESME Manufacturer
- One Other SEC Party Meter Asset Provider
SEC Parties are invited to make a nomination for their Party category using the online form here by Wednesday 8 November 2023. You will need to be logged in to access the form.
The SMDASC manages the SMDA Scheme efficiently and in accordance with its objective of providing assurance of the interoperability and interchangeability of smart meter Devices, as well as overseeing the development of potential changes to the test specifications and test scripts.
SMDASC members are responsible for being a decision-making body for all technical aspects and testing process issues relating to the SMDA Scheme.
