SEC version 82.0 came into effect today, 20 December 2023, to implement MP251 ‘Transfer of Secret Key Material’.
This modification allows the DCC to use a DCC Key Infrastructure (DCCKI) Certificate to secure the transfer of the Transitional Change of Supplier (TCoS) Private Key from the Data Service Provider (DSP). This method has been reviewed and approved by the Smart Metering Key Infrastructure Policy Management Authority (SMKI PMA) and Security Sub-Committee (SSC).
