News post for TABASC ELECTION 2022

30 November 2022 signals the end of term for those TABASC Members serving a 24-month term.
In October, SECAS issued nominations for the following six seats:

  • three people elected by the Large Supplier Parties
  • one person elected by the Small Supplier Parties
  • one person elected by the Other SEC Parties
  • one person elected by the Gas Network Parties

Please see below for outcomes of the call for nominations:

For Vote: Other SEC Parties

SECAS received two nominations for the Other SEC Parties seat, Alastair Cobb of Landis + Gyr, and Ian Lovatt of Chameleon Technology.

This will now go to a vote open to all Other SEC Parties. Please find attached information about the candidates and the voting form. To submit your vote, please fill out the voting form below and returning it to the SECAS helpdesk (SECAS@gemserv.com).

Voting closes at 5pm on Wednesday 9 November.

Large Supplier Seats

SECAS received three nominations for the Large Supplier seats, retaining his seat is Alex Hurcombe from EDF Energy. Alex holds an existing Large Supplier seat on the TABASC, and he will commence a new 24-month term in November.

There was one nomination for Emma Johnson from British Gas, and one nomination for Robert Williams from Eon Energy. As there were no further nominations, Emma and Robert will commence their 24-month terms in November 2022.

Small Supplier Seat

SECAS received one nomination for the Small Supplier Seat, Daniel Davies from ESG Global. There were no further nominations, so Daniel will commence his 24-month term in November 2022.

Gas Network Operators

There were no nominations for Gas Network Operators, and this seat remains vacant.
