Between 18 July 2023 and 18 August 2023, the DCC consulted on proposed amendments to the SMETS1 Transition and Migration Approach Document (TMAD) Clause 7 to clarify the rules for the retention and/or deletion of data by DCC relating to SMETS1 migrations where the associated migration capability has closed after the decommissioning of the Requesting Party. The consultation also proposed to designate the amendments into the SMETS1 TMAD. The DCC concluded on this consultation on 4 September 2023.
Today, the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero issued a direction letter, dated 15 September 2023, to re-designate the SMETS1 TMAD with the proposed amendments. The direction letter and accompanying appendixes can be found here.
