On 9 February 2022, the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) issued a consultation on changes to the Baseline Margin Project Performance Adjustment Scheme (BMPPAS) for Data Communications Company (DCC) SMETS1 Services.
The consultation proposes revisions to the incentives scheme to tie the DCC margin for delivery of its SMETS1 Service to the final quantity of Smart Metering Systems (SMSs) successfully Enrolled, and the speed at which their Enrolment takes place.
