Michael Snowden
Michael is an Other SEC Parties (OSP) representative on the SEC Panel and on various sub-committees (eg SSC, CTG, OPSG).
His aim to promote innovation and allow new services to be better supported along with addressing consumer issues to ensure that the current/future SEC and DCC services meet customer and consumer needs.
Michael has over 20 years’ experience in the definition, evolution and rollout of smart metering in UK, Ireland, Australia, India and says: “My UK experience places me in a unique position of having an overall understanding of the numerous SEC obligations, industry systems and security controls that will allow me to support an Other SEC Party perspective; and my global experience provides me the insight to foresee consumer innovation and benefits”.
