James Burney
James has been involved in the UK Smart Meter roll out since 2015, and since 2021 has worked at SSE Energy Supply Ltd. where he heads up a team ensuring compliance with SEC Section G as well as other Smart related codes. James has worked in both Small and Large domestic suppliers and currently works for a non-domestic supplier, providing him with a good overview of the whole of the supply sector. James is also an active member of the Security Sub-Committee and the SMKI PMA, allowing him to bring his more technical knowledge to his work for the Panel.
