Testing Advisory Group (TAG) recently held the annual nominations for several seats. Following the nominations received, the results are listed below. The new terms of the appointed candidates will begin in April 2026. An election now follows for the Other SEC Party seats.
Nomination and election outcomes
Other SEC Party Seats
Three nominations were received for two Other SEC Party seats.
- Martin Bell (EUA)
- Lydia Igoche (Alt HAN)
- James Singleton (Green Energy Options Ltd)
This will now go to a vote open to all Other SEC Parties. Please view candidates’ Biographies for the Other SEC Parties. To submit your vote, please complete the voting form on the SEC Website (you will need to be logged in to access this page). If you have any difficulties accessing the form, please contact the Service Desk (SEC@seccoltd.com). Voting closes at 5pm on Tuesday 24 March 2026.
Large Supplier Seats
Three nominations were received for three Large Supplier seats:
- Renoop Puthukudy (Octopus Energy)
- Mahfuzar Rahman (Scottish Power)
- Ranjit Dulay (EON Energy)
As there were no further nominations, the nominees will commence a new term starting in April 2026.
Small Supplier Seats
One nomination was received for three Small Supplier seats:
- Robert Trueman (Ecotricity)
As there were no further nominations, the nominees will commence a new term starting in April 2026.
Network Operator Seats
No nominations were received for the three Network Operator seats.
Consumer Representative Seats
No nominations were received for the one Consumer Representative seats.
