We recently held the annual Testing Advisory Group (TAG) elections for several seats. Following the nominations received, the results are as follows:
Large Supplier Parties
There were three nominations for the three available seats, which were Mahfuzar Rahman from Scottish Power, Renoop Puthukudy from Octopus Energy and Ranjit Dulay from E.ON Energy. Mahfuzar, Renoop and Ranjit will each be taking on a consecutive term.
Small Supplier Parties
There was one nomination for the three available seats, which was Robert Trueman from Ecotricity. As there were no further nominations, the nominee will commence a new term starting in April 2026.
Other SEC Parties
There were three nominations for the two available seats, following the TAG Election Vote, Martin Bell from EUA will be taking on a consecutive term and James Singleton from Green Energy Operations LTD has been elected for a new term.
Network Operators (Electricity)
No nominations were received for this seat, so it remains vacant. If you are a Electricity Network Operators and would like to submit a nomination, please contact SEC@seccoltd.com.
Network Operators (Gas)
No nominations were received for this seat, so it remains vacant. If you are a Gas Network Party and would like to submit a nomination, please contact SEC@seccoltd.com.
The new term begins on Wednesday, 01 April 2026, so the first TAG meeting with new membership will be TAG 136X, on Tuesday, 14 April 2025. The online membership list is now updated to reflect this election.
