On the 23rd August 2018, the DCC published the SMETS1 Security Architecture Document Version 1.1.
The document identifies the necessary cryptographic, technical, physical, personnel and procedural controls required to integrate the Smart Meter Equipment Technical Specification 1 (SMETS1) and the newer SMETS2 systems.
The DCC have published an Amber Version which has been redacted for SEC Parties – The SSC deems that Users have a ‘need to know’ because Section 4.1 of this document gives guidance to users and User Suppliers may inherit SMETS1 Enrolled Devices.
