A consultation on changes to the SEC Charging Methodology under DP218.

On 9 December 2024, the Data Communications Company (DCC) issued a consultation for DP218 ‘Review of the SEC Charging Methodology’. The consultation is open to anyone to make comments and closes on 3 February 2025.

SECAS will be hosting a webinar for any respondents who have queries on the DCC Consultation questions, and to provide any further clarification needed to help Parties in their response to the DCC Consultation.

The DP218 DCC Consultation FAQ Webinar will take place on Monday 13 January 2025, 2pm – 3.30pm. Any interested Parties should register to attend the webinar by CoP Friday 10 January 2025.

Webinar details are as follows:

  • When: Monday 13 January 2025, 2pm – 3.30pm.
  • Where: This meeting will be held online only.
  • Who: All SEC Parties and anyone who is interested in responding to the DP218 DCC Consultation.
  • What:
    • For the DCC and their consultants (Frontier Economics) to provide answers to any clarification questions.
    • For attendees to ask any questions pertaining to the DCC consultation to help Parties in their response.
  • How: Please confirm your attendance by close of play Friday 10 January 2025 to SEC.Change@talan.com with the subject heading ‘DP218 DCC Consultation FAQ Webinar’.
