SEC Version 109.0 came into effect today, 4 April 2025.

Today, 4 April 2025, the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) is re-designating SEC Appendix AM ‘SMETS1 Supporting Requirements’ (S1SR), including Annex A ‘Device Model Variations to Equivalent Steps Matrix’ (DMVES Matrix), with changes in support of enhanced DCC network stability and Market-Wide Half-Hourly Settlement.

To avoid confusion, in the DCC consultation in February 2025, changes to Annex A ‘DMVES Matrix’ were drafted as v12.4, whereas the previous version was v12.2, due to this, there will be no v12.3.
