September 2025 signals the end of term for those SEC Panel Members serving a 24-month term. In July SECAS issued nominations for the following seats:
- One Large Supplier Representative
- One Small Supplier Representative
- Two Other SEC Party Representatives
- One Gas Network Representative
Nomination and election outcomes:
Large Supplier Seats:
SECAS received two nominations for the one Large Supplier seat:
- Ralph Baxter, Octopus
- Louise Dickinson, British Gas
This will now go to a vote open to all Large Suppliers. Please view candidates’ Biographies on Large Suppliers and Other SEC Parties.

Small Supplier Seat:
SECAS received one nomination for the Small Supplier seat, Carolyn Burns, ESG Global Ltd. As there were no further nominations, Carolyn will commence a new term starting in September 2025.
Other SEC Party Seats:
SECAS received three nominations for the two Other SEC Party seats:
- Michael Snowden, Secure Meters
- Carmen Strickland, Horizon EI
- Joshua Cooper, Hildebrand Technology Limited

GAS Network Seat:
SECAS received one nomination for the Gas Network seat, Tom Stuart, Wales & West Utilities . As there were no further nominations, Tom will commence a new term starting in September 2025.
