SEC Panel Election Results
The annual SEC Panel elections have concluded. Results are as follows:
- Large Supplier Parties: Ralph Baxter (Octopus Energy) re-elected for a consecutive term.
- Small Supplier Parties: Carolyn Burns (ESG Global Ltd) re-elected for a consecutive term.
- Other SEC Parties: Michael Snowden (Secure Meters UK Ltd) re-elected for a consecutive term and Joshua Cooper (Hilderbrand Technology Ltd) elected for a new term.
- Network Operators (Gas): Tom Stuart (Wales & West Utilities) elected for a new term.
The new term begins on 16 September 2025, with the first Panel meeting held on 23 September 2025.
Security Sub-Committee Election Results
The annual Security Sub-Committee elections have concluded. The successful candidates are:
- Large Supplier Parties: Alastair Cobb (British Gas) and Martin Christie (E.ON), both re-elected for a consecutive term; and Mitchell Gatting (OVO), elected for a new term.
- Small Suppliers Parties: James Burney (SSE), re-elected for a consecutive term.
- CPL Manufacturer: Michael Snowden (Secure Meters), elected for a new term.
- Other User: Clive Eisen (Hildebrand), elected for a new term.
- Electricity Networks Representative: Geoff Huckerby (CGI), re-elected for a consecutive term.
The new term runs from 10 September 2025 to 2027
Operations Group Election Results
The annual Operations Group elections have concluded. The successful candidates are:
- Large Supplier Parties: Emslie Law (OVO), re-elected for a consecutive term; Daniel Chambers (British Gas), elected for a new term; and Kevin Donnelly (Scottish Power), re-elected for a consecutive term.
- Other SEC Parties: Adam Cooke (Macquarie), elected for a new term.
- Network Operators (Electricity), Stephen Macfarlane (SPEN), elected for a new term.
The new term begins on 14 October 2025, with the first meeting (OPSG 150) taking place on 14 October 2025.

New Sub-Committee: Customer Challenge Group – Election Results
The Customer Challenge Group (CCG) elections have concluded, and the inaugural meeting of the CCG was held on 09 September 2025.
Mark Bygraves has been appointed by SECCo as the Independent Chair of the Customer Challenge Group.
Following the elections process, results are as follows:
- Large Supplier Parties: Rochelle Harrison (British Gas), Martin Christie (E.ON), and Alex Hurcombe (EDF) have been appointed to the Committee.
- Small Supplier Parties: Kerry Maisey (SSE) has been appointed to the Committee. An additional vacancy exists for Small Supplier Parties.
- Other SEC Parties: Beth Tatton (Calisen Asset Management Limited) has been appointed to the Committee.
- Network Operators:Â Rachael Prosser (National Grid) has been appointed to the Committee. An additional vacancy exists for Network Operators.
- Consumer Representative: Â Matt Cole (Independent) has been appointed to the Committee. An additional vacancy exists for Consumer Representatives.

SECCo have also appointed Ash Pocock and David Hart to provide Subject Matter Expertise to the group, as non-core Members.
