The deadline for submitting nominations for the Finance Sub-Committee (FSC) is next week, Tuesday 14 July, 17:00.
As a result of the establishment of the FSC, the below seats are open for nomination:
- 6 Large Supplier Parties
- 2 Small Supplier Parties
- 2 Electricity Network Parties/ Gas Network Parties
- 1 Other SEC Party
SEC Parties are invited to submit a nomination for their Party category via the online nomination form. You will need to be logged in to access the form.
How to make a nomination: You may nominate a prospective candidate or yourself if you wish to contribute to key industry developments. While nominees do not need to be SEC Parties, only SEC Parties can submit nominations.
Nominee requirements: As outlined in the SEC, nominees must be eligible to become and remain a Member under SEC Section C4.2 at the time of nomination.
Nominated candidates must:
- Be financially literate and able to apply commercial judgment.
- Be experienced in evaluating investment and contracting proposals.
- Have a good understanding of how the costs associated with Smart Metering impact their organisation.
- Have a good understanding of DCC’s charging statement process.
- Have an awareness of different financing arrangement options and how they impact their organisation.

Voting process: If nominations exceed available seats in a Party Category, a vote will take place. Each Voting Group within that category will be entitled to cast one vote for their preferred nominee. Eligible candidates will be notified after the nomination window closes.
