Operations Group Elections 2024 – Update and Voting
2024 signals the end of term for those OPSG Members serving a 24-month term. In August, SECAS issued nominations for the following four seats:
- five persons elected by the Large Supplier Parties
- one person elected by the Small Supplier Parties
- two persons elected by the Other SEC Parties
Please see below for outcomes of the call for nominations.
Large Supplier Seat
SECAS received five nominations for the Large Supplier seats. A seat is available for all Large Supplier Parties. This year, Laurence Cross, Martin Christie and George MacGregor have successfully renominated themselves as Large Suppliers to the OPSG. Ralph Baxter is stepping down and has nominated Joey Manners for Octopus, Sam Draper is stepping down and has nominated Adam Mordey for EDF. Thanks to the outgoing Large Supplier OPSG members and congratulations and welcome to the new representatives.
Small Supplier Seat
SECAS received one nomination for the Small Supplier Seat, this year, Cassie Bowerman is stepping down and she has nominated Rebecca Sanderson, for ESG, to take her seat.
Other SEC Parties
SECAS received three nominations for the Other SEC Parties seat, renominating themselves for another term are Michael Snowden of Secure Meters and Geoff Huckerby from CGI. Also nominated is James Murphy, from Stark.
This will now go to a vote open to all Other SEC Parties, SEC Parties may vote for individuals representing their own category. You can find out more about the candidates below, and can vote by filling out the voting form below and returning it to the SECAS helpdesk (SEC@seccoltd.com)
