Latest update
On 20 September 2023, the Change Board voted to approve this modification under Self-Governance. MP167B will be implemented on 29 February 2024 as part of the February 2024 SEC Release.
What is the issue?
The Proposer has identified several areas that appear to be no longer applicable to the Code. Ofgem also raised an action for SECAS to review the SEC and rationalise where possible.
Following discussions in the Refinement Process, it was agreed that the original SEC Modification MP167 will be split into two separate modifications.
MP167B looks at internal DCC System changes, and will investigate whether testing governance needs to be incorporated into the SEC.
What is the solution?
The Proposed Solution is to define the Programme Assurance Policy, and reference the document in the SEC. This will obligate the DCC to adhere to the document when it is initiating a project or programme with potential DCC User impacts.
Who is impacted?
