This modification was implemented on 4 November 2021 as part of the November 2021 SEC Release.

What is the issue?

MP080 ‘Managing DUIS uplifts’, implemented as part of the November 2019 Smart Energy Code (SEC) Release, added DCC User Interface Specification (DUIS) versions to the Technical Specification Applicability Tables (TSAT). Currently in the SEC, the TSAT still displays DUIS versions 1.0 and 2.0 as available for use. These need to be removed from the SEC so that DCC Users are clear that these are no longer supported versions.

What is the solution?

To introduce a Maintenance Validity Period (MVP) for the DUIS Table in the TSAT. This way, the versions of DUIS can be given Maintenance Start dates and Maintenance End dates to highlight which versions of DUIS remain relevant, and to remove older versions of DUIS from the SEC.
