MP164 November 2021 SEC Release supporting changes

The DCC detailed system design associated with the SECMP0007 changes occurred after the approval of the modification and associated legal text. As part of this detailed system design process some additions and amendments have been identified as being required to align to the legal text with the required SECMP0007 solution design. These consequential changes to the SEC Technical Specifications are needed to ensure that the SEC accurately reflects the agreed SECMP0007 solution.

The Proposed Solution is to make consequential changes to the versions the GB Companion Specification (GBCS), the Smart Metering Equipment Technical Specifications (SMETS)2, the DUIS and the Message Mapping Catalogue (MMC). No changes are required to the Communications Hub Technical Specifications (CHTS) legal text approved under SECMP0007.

SECAS has drafted the legal text with input from the DCC, its Service Providers, and the GBCS Working Group. The legal text has also been reviewed by the Technical Architecture and Business Architecture Sub-Committee (TABASC) and the Technical Specification Issue Resolution Subgroup (TSIRS).
