This modification was withdrawn by the Proposer on 30 July 2024 as there is SSC Guidance which has been published with recommendation for manufacturers not to change Device credentials when meters are triaged under Use Case 004.

What is the issue?

Under Use Case 004, Devices which are returned to the Supplier or Meter Asset Provider (MAP) without defects face Install and Commission (I&C) failure if their Certificate details have changed, as the Data Service Provider (DSP) systems retain initial Certificates, causing a mismatch.
