On 17 October 2023 the Change Sub-Committee voted to approve this modification as a Fast-Track Modification. This modification was implemented in the November 2023 SEC Release (Thursday 2 November 2023).
What is the issue?
The Smart Energy Code Administrator and Secretariat (SECAS) has identified an error relating to the implementation of SECMP0056 ‘IHD / PPMID Zigbee Attributes Available on the HAN’. This error is within the GB Companion Specification (GBCS) Table 7.4. This error and it’s resolution has been tracked by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero’s (DESNZ’s) Issue Log under TS1580.
What is the solution?
The Proposed Solution is to correct the SECMP0056-related errors and inconsistencies identified in SEC Schedule 8 ‘GB Companion Specification’. The change is purely document only and explains the situation more clearly. It will not require any system changes.
