CACoP invites you to an online drop-in session on Wednesday, 07 January 2026, from 11:00 to 12:00. This is to discuss Ofgem’s prioritisation consultation Establishing a harmonised prioritisation process in the Industry Codes: statutory consultation | Ofgem . This cross-code session will be jointly run by CACoP and the code bodies.

Why attend?

From Spring 2026 the way code modifications are prioritised will change across all codes. Anyone raising a code modification will be responsible for an initial assessment of the priority of their proposal, with code bodies supporting proposers in their critical friend role. In this session we will set out the upcoming changes, outline the impacts for stakeholders, and explain the steps that code bodies are taking to ensure consistency in treatment of prioritised modifications across the codes.

Who Should Attend?

This session is open to all stakeholders, including those involved in raising modification proposals, and also those with an interest in energy code governance—especially those planning to respond to the consultation.

How to Register: Please register here no later than 06 January 2026. We welcome questions to be submitted in advance of the session to SEC@seccoltd.com.

We look forward to your participation and insights.
