Today the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero is issuing an updated notice under paragraphs 6.2, 6.3, 6.4, 6.6 and 6.8 of the Baseline Margin Project Performance Adjustment (BMPPA) Scheme for the 4G Communications Hubs & Network (CH&N) programme which has been amended to incorporate the following changes:
• The inclusion of the LSC Volume Manufacturing Decision Criteria that must be satisfied for the DCC to commence the volume manufacture of 4G Communications Hubs, which were issued by the Department to the DCC in the related Request For Information letter dated 9 May 2024;
• Changes to the assessment questions and scoring methodology for Project Activity 2 to align with changes made by Ofgem to the Operational Performance Regime guidance that came into effect on 1 April 2024 (which can be found here); and
• Some minor changes to correct typos e.g. to the reporting deadline in the timetables for Project Activities 1 and 2.
