DESNZ has today, 9 October 2025, published its response to its consultation on the Second version of the VWKI Transition Document. DESNZ is re-designating the VWKI Transition Document and designating the initial version of the VWKI Interface Specification and the documents required to support the VWKI Service.
The changes are designed to take effect from 17 October 2025 and have the effect of switching on the VWKI Service from this date, allowing Virtual WAN Device Manufacturers to become subscribers for Virtual WAN Device Certificates in advance of Soft Launch next January.
