Today, 18 November 2025, DESNZ has published its fourth and final consultation on changes to SEC Subsidiary Documents in advance of Soft Launch of the Virtual WAN arrangements planned for January next year.
The consultation document and Annex 1 can be found here and annexes 2-6 which are change-marked versions of SEC subsidiary documents can be found here.
The consultation also invites views on whether additional obligations should be placed on DCC to support further testing of the WAN Selection Arrangements.
Responses should be submitted to smartmetering@energysecurity.gov.uk by 17:00 on 12 January 2026.
