Today, 3 November 2025, DESNZ has published its response to its consultation on changes to a number of technical SEC Documents to incorporate VWAN related changes in advance of the 6 November SEC release. Â The original consultation can be found here.
The following documents are being additionally incorporated into the SEC with effect from 6 November:
- SEC Appendix AD ‘DCC User Interface Specification’ v5.4(draft)
- SEC Appendix AF ‘Message Mapping Catalogue’ v5.4
- SEC Schedule 8 ‘GB Companion Specification’ v 4.4(draft)
- SEC Schedule 10 ‘Communication Hub Technical Specifications’ v1.7
DUIS and GBCS are being designated as draft versions because they will immediately be updated by SEC modifications which also form part of the 6 November SEC Release.
The following documents are being re-designated (also with effect from 6 November):
- SEC Schedule 11 ‘TS Applicability Tables’ v25
- SEC Appendix AZ ‘VWAN Transition Document’ v3.0
