DESNZ has today published a response to its 16 January 2025 consultation on Smart Meters connected to the DCC via the internet. DESNZ is also inviting comments on proposed drafting changes to the DCC licence, gas and electricity supply licences and the SEC to implement the arrangements.

The conclusions and further consultation document, The licence and SEC changes (other than Section L) in Annex 2, and the Section L Changes in Annex 3 are available here.

Responses should be sent to smartmetering@energysecurity.gov.uk by 17:00 on 30 May 2025
