Department for Energy Security & Net Zero (DESNZ) has today, 5 March 2025, published a document that concludes on its September 2024 consultation on changes to DCC User Interface Specification (DUIS) to allow devices with an Smart Metering Inventory (SMI) Status of ‘Installed Not Commissioned’ to be added to the Device Log of a Communications Hub Function (CHF). It also invites views on a revised re-designation date for the new DUIS versions of 18 March 2025.

Responses on the proposed re-designation date should be sent to smartmetering@energysecurity.gov.uk by 17:00 on 14 March 2025.
