Department for Energy Security & Net Zero (DESNZ) has today, 7 March 2025, published its response to its 3 December 2024 consultation document on making changes to the DCC licence and SEC to allow for a subsidiary of SECCo to be established to seek to become the holder of the successor Smart Meter Communication Licences.
