31 March 2023 signals the end of the term for several Change Sub-Committee members. We therefore issued a call for nominations for the below seats:
- One person elected by Large Suppliers Parties
- Two persons elected by Small Suppliers Parties
- One person elected by Gas Networks Parties
- One person elected by Other SEC Parties
The outcomes of the call for nominations are as follows:
Large Supplier Seat
We received one nomination for the Large Supplier seat: Emma Johnson from British Gas. Emma currently holds this Large Supplier seat on the Change Sub Committee, and as there were no further nominations, she will commence a new term.
Small Supplier Seats
We received one nomination for the Small Supplier seat: Daniel Davies from ESG Global. Daniel currently holds one of the Small Supplier seats on the Change Sub Committee, and as there were no further nominations, he will commence a new term.
Please note, there is still one vacant Small Supplier seat on the Change Sub Committee.
Gas Networks Seat
We received no nominations for the Gas Networks seat, and this seat remains vacant.
Other SEC Party Seat
We received two nominations for the Other SEC Party seat: Alastair Cobb from Landis + Gyr, and Jeff Studholme from Smart Meter Assets.
However, Beth Davey, who holds the second Other SEC Party seat, has advised that she plans to resign from her seat, and has offered it to one of the above nominees. Alastair Cobb has agreed to take Beth Davey’s seat, which will be up for election again in 2024. Jeff Studholme will take the seat that was up for election this year, and will sit on this seat until it is up for election again in 2025.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Beth for her depth of knowledge and input she has brought to the Change Sub Committee.
