Today, 26 March 2025, the Change Board celebrates its 100th meeting.
Since its inception, Change Board members have collaborated to assess, approve, and implement transformative changes that have positively impacted the industry and consumers in numerous ways, delivering 176 modifications to the SEC as of March 2025.
Change Board Chair, Ali Beard stated, “The Change Board members work tirelessly to scrutinise the modifications presented to them, ensuring they meet the SEC objectives, and help deliver the benefits of smart meters to industry and consumers alike. The Change Board has also provided valuable insights into various matters, including the business benefits of requesting impact assessments and the costs of releases”
As we celebrate this important milestone, we remain focused on adapting to future challenges and seizing opportunities to improve the SEC Change Process. We will also work collaboratively with SEC Parties and key stakeholders to ensure the benefits of change are realised and deliver value for SEC Parties and consumers.
