Today, the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has issued a letter notifying a correction to the description of hardware versions of the Electricity Smart Metering Equipment (ESME) Device Models in the Eligible Product Combinations List (EPCL) entry approvals, to support future Migrations.
BEIS has now approved the addition of Device Model Combinations (DMCs) to the EPCL, pursuant to clause 3.7 of SEC Appendix AL ‘SMETS1 Transition and Migration Approach Document’.
