Today, the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) published a consultation response to the 6 April 2020 consultation and outstanding matters from 14 January 2020 consultation. This concerns a number of topics related to the smart meter rollout and involves amendments to the standard conditions of gas and electricity supply licences, the DCC licence and the Smart Energy Code (SEC), the Balancing and Settlement Code (BSC) and the Uniform Network Code (UNC).
