BEIS Consultation on incorporating revised SEC Variation Testing Approach Document (SVTAD) into the SEC for Release 2

On 5th June 2018 BEIS issued a consultation letter to Ofgem, the SEC Panel, SEC Parties and other interested parties seeking views on proposals to re-designate a revised SEC Variation Testing Approach Document (SVTAD) (v2.0) into the SEC.  The proposed designation date for the incorporation of this document into the SEC is 25th June 2018 or, if necessary, within one month thereafter.

The date for responses to this consultation is 15th June 2018.

The letter also sets out the Secretary of State’s approval of the following documents with effect from 5th June 2018:

• Annex C: Device Integration Testing Approach Document (DITAD) v1.2 (updating the DITAD approved on 22th February 2018)
• Annex D: User Integration Testing Approach Document (UITAD) v1.2 (a new test phase approach document)
