In this episode, we discuss the upcoming February 2023 SEC Release, with more details coming in next month’s episode. We discussed DP224 ‘SEC Performance Assurance Framework’, which has been raised to look at developing and implementing a SEC Performance Assurance Framework (PAF). A Request for Information (RFI) will be issued to industry before the end of February 2023. We also discussed MP223 ‘WAN Coverage Reporting’, which is seeking to introduce obligations on the DCC to report on current WAN coverage levels, and any work which is ongoing to improve them.

Latest Modcast: SEC Modcast - November 2022

In this episode, we discussed DP218 ‘Review of the SEC Charging Methodology’. This modification was discussed in the October 2022 Modcast and has been raised to investigate the current SEC charging arrangements. We examined the questions included in the RFI, as well as explaining some of the terminologies and how it works.

The Request for Information (RFI) will be issued to industry before the end of November 2022, with the consultation period ending in mid-January 2023.
