The Business Architecture Document (BAD)
SEC Section F1.4 sets out the duties of the Technical Architecture and Business Architecture Sub-Committee (TABASC), on behalf of the Panel, to develop and maintain a Business Architecture Document (BAD), which describes the Business Architecture for GB smart metering.
The BAD describes the Business Architecture, which is defined in SEC Section A as:
the business architecture which is designed to enable Parties to use the Services and/or to enable Parties, Energy Consumers and those acting on behalf of Energy Consumers to access the functionality described in the Technical Specifications.

The BAM is available to all interested parties and can be accessed here. No log-in credentials are required to view the content of the BAM.
If you have any questions, feedback or any suggested improvements to the BAD, these can be submitted to the SECAS Helpdesk. Any feedback that would result in a change to the BAD received will be brought to the TABASC for consideration and action, if required.
A BAM user guidance document is being developed and will be made available to outline key navigation steps and guidance on the structure of the BAM and will be published on this page once completed.
