This modification was withdrawn by the Proposer on 2 February 2022 as the request for information respondents stated that the scale of the issue was minimal and a modification was not required.
What is the issue?
For DUIS Tables 97 and 98, the MaxMeterBalance and MaxCreditThreshold are measured in millipence (1000th pence / cent) and it is the same for CreditMaxCreditThreshold and MaxCreditMaxMeterBalance for MMC Table 101. This differs for GBCS, where Table 14.1 measures Maximum Credit Threshold and Maximum Meter Balance Threshold in Currency Units (whole currency units only).
The behaviour of the DCC Total System for SMETS2 is inline with GBCS and as per the explanation to TS0319, published in January 2016, the units of measure for both Maximum Credit Threshold and Maximum Meter Balance in Commands to ESME/GSME are whole numbers of pounds / euros.
• The DCC populates the values in the GBCS Command (to set the values on a Device) using the same values as supplied by the DCC User in the corresponding fields in the Service Request; and
• The DCC takes the values in the GBCS Response (when they are read from the Device) and places the same values in the corresponding fields of the Parse & Correlate XML output.
Therefore, the units of the corresponding fields in the Service Request / Parse and Correlate XML output are also integers of pounds / euros. The relevant Anomaly Detection Attributes values are also integers of pounds / euros.
