What is the issue?
Target Response Times are the target duration for the round-trip journeys for Service Requests and are set to either 30 seconds or 24 hours, depending on how time-critical they are. Through development of installation and commissioning processes it has been identified that some of the Target Response Times set out in Smart Energy Code (SEC) are not appropriate.
What is the solution?
The proposed solution is to amend Target Response Times where they need to be processed as part of the installation and commissioning of a smart meter. This will change the targets of time critical Service Requests set at 24 hours to 30 seconds and revise any targets for identified Service Requests which are currently taking longer than 30 seconds to accurately reflect the current delivery of these responses.
