Effectiveness Review questionnaire by the TABASC – responses invited by 9 October 2019

9 September 2019

The Effectiveness Review

The Smart Energy Code (SEC) Sections F1.4 (e), (f) and (g) set out the requirements for the Technical Architecture and Business Architecture Sub-Committee (TABASC), when directed to do so by the Panel, to review the effectiveness of the End-to-End Technical Architecture, Business Architecture and the HAN requirements.

Third issue of the Effectiveness Review questionnaire

The TABASC is engaging with SEC Parties and DCC Users, with a focus on operational DCC Users or those undergoing the User Entry Process. This is the third issue of the review. Your responses will help inform whether further investigation is required.

The findings will be shared with the SEC Panel and its Sub-Committees only to inform whether further work is required in relation to the effectiveness of the of the Technical Architecture, Business Architecture, HAN requirements and any operational issues affecting the User experience with the End-to-End processes, including those managed and provided by the DCC.

How do I respond?

You can access the Effectiveness Review questionnaire using the following link: Third iteration of the Effectiveness Review Questionnaire

One questionnaire response is requested per organisation. Your response should include feedback from the technical and operational aspects of your organisation.

You are invited to respond by close of play on 9 October 2019.

More Information

More information can be found in the ‘Third iteration of the Effectiveness Review Briefing Pack and Questions’ zip folder, including:

  • a briefing slide deck, with details on the purpose of the Effectiveness Review; and
  • the Word version set of Effectiveness Review questions, that are contained within the online questionnaire, to enable respondents to more easily formulate and collate feedback before completing the online questionnaire.

For more information on the Effectiveness Review and associated questionnaire, please email the SECAS Helpdesk (secas@gemserv.com).

The survey is being undertaken by SECAS, on behalf of the TABASC. All information you provide will be treated in confidence. Your responses will be analysed and any resulting recommendations reported to the Panel and its Sub-Committees.

If a DCC User identifies an emerging problem, it may be necessary for the TABASC to obtain further details for clarification. For this reason, the questionnaire requests the name of your organisation and contact details for any necessary follow-up activities.
