SEC v5.17 came into effect on 5th June 2018. This follows consultation by BEIS on incorporating Great Britain Companion Specification (GBCS) versions 2.1 and 3.1 into the SEC and re-designating DCC User Interface Specification (DUIS) version 2.0 and the TS Applicability Tables.
To avoid the potential for confusion and the possibility of a superseded version of a document being mistakenly used in the future, BEIS has also re-designated GBCS version 3.0 within Schedule 8, the content of which simply explains that the document has been superseded by GBCS version 3.1.
