SEC Privacy Provisions Workshop

On the 19th June SECAS will be hosting a SEC Privacy Provisions Workshop to discuss some key privacy topics.

Part of the day will be facilitated by the DCC and will cover the following topics:

  • Definition of Personal Data within the ecosystem; and
  • the use of Personal Data within testing activity.

The remainder of the day will be led by the User CIO in conjunction with SECAS. They will  present on the draft changes to the Privacy Controls Framework (PCF):

  • Overview of draft amendments to the PCF guidance on I1.2- 1.4; and
  • discussing and developing additional guidance for I1.5.

The objective of the workshop is for participants to review and analyse proposed approaches to fulfilling privacy obligations. The workshop will be used to establish a consultation regarding the changes to the Privacy Controls Framework.

The forum is for experts to share knowledge and shape the future of privacy within the SEC. As such, attendees will ideally have an expertise in privacy and data protection.

A final agenda will be circulated closer to the date.
