SEC Panel Election 2021: Membership Update

SECAS recently held the annual SEC Panel elections for four seats. Following a call for SEC Party nominations and subsequent votes, the results are as follows:

Large Supplier Parties

There was one nomination for this seat, which was for the current Panel member, Ralph Baxter from Octopus Energy. Ralph will therefore be taking on a consecutive term.

Gas Network Parties

There was only one nomination for this seat, which was for Tracey Saunders from Northern Gas. Tracey will therefore automatically take on this seat for the new term.

Small Supplier Parties

There was only one nomination for this seat, which was for Karen Lee of ESG Global. Karen will therefore automatically take on this seat for the new term.

Other SEC Parties

There were two nominations for this seat. The successful candidate was Alastair Cobb of Landis+Gyr, whose bio you can find below:

The new term begins on Thursday 23 September, so the first Panel meeting with new membership will be on Friday 15 October. The online membership list is now updated to reflect this election.
