The SSC has issued a new version of the Guidance on Device Refurbishment Version 1.02.
Within this update is a new Use case 002 – Identifying Installed SMKI Certificates. The use case aims to build on Use case 001 by adding functionality to allow the Responsible Supplier to be identified by reference to the Public SMKI Organisation Certificate on the Device. This will, subject to commercial arrangements, allow the MAP to arrange the return a refurbished Device to the Responsible Supplier for installation.
