Introduction to the SEC Seminar 16th October 2017

Have you only recently acceded to the Smart Energy Code? Do you have employees that are new to smart metering in Great Britain?

On Monday 16th October 2017, SECAS will be running an Introduction to the SEC Seminar day that is aimed at providing an entry-level guide to your obligations under the SEC.

When: 16th October 2017, running between 10.00 to 14.00

Where: 8 Fenchurch Place, London, EC3M 4AJ

The session is aimed at attendees with limited knowledge of the SEC and its governance including newly Acceded Parties and new starters within your organisation.

SECAS will provide a high level overview of the SEC from the perspective of a SEC Party and include:

  •  An introduction to the Smart Metering Implementation Programme
  • The current SEC
  • SEC Governance and Sub-Committees
  • The User Entry Process
  • An introduction to the Modification Process

Space is limited, so bookings are essential. Bookings will be limited to two places per SEC Party, with preference given to those who have not previously attended SEC information events.

In response to feedback from previous seminars, we are also aiming to provide webinar capability, allowing the opportunity to those who cannot make it in person to be involved. If you wish to be involved via a webinar, please let us know.
