25 March 2021

The TABASC Effectiveness Review Questionnaire

Smart Energy Code (SEC) Section F1.4 (e – g) sets out the requirements for the Technical Architecture and Business Architecture Sub-Committee (TABASC) to review the effectiveness of the End-to-End Technical Architecture, Business Architecture and Home Area Network (HAN) requirements.

Fourth iteration of the Effectiveness Review Questionnaire

The TABASC is engaging with SEC Parties and DCC Users, focusing on operational DCC Users or those currently undergoing the DCC User Entry Process (UEP).

This confidential questionnaire has been issued to all SEC Parties. The findings will be shared with the SEC Panel and its Sub-Committees to inform them if further work is required in relation to the effectiveness of the Technical Architecture, Business Architecture and HAN requirements, and any operational issues affecting your experience with End-to-End processes, including those managed and provided by the DCC.

How to respond

The fourth iteration of the Effectiveness Review Questionnaire can be accessed here. A link to the questionnaire has also been issued via email to all SEC Parties.

One questionnaire response is requested per Party. Your response should include feedback from the technical and operational aspects of your Party. Please submit a response from your Party by 5pm 26 April 2021.

In addition, please see the Fourth iteration of the TABASC Effectiveness Review Briefing Pack and Questions zip folder containing:

Confidentiality

It is recognised that any information you provide may have commercial sensitivity and will be treated in confidence for analysis. The questionnaire is being undertaken by SECAS, on behalf of the TABASC. All information will be treated in confidence.

However, if a Party identifies an emerging issue, it may be necessary for the TABASC to obtain further details for clarification. For this reason, the questionnaire asks for the name of your Party and contact details for any follow-up clarifications.
