The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has published a consultation on clarificatory changes to Appendix B of the SEC (the Organisation Certificate Policy) to clarify details of how a particular field in XML signing Certificates should be populated by a User not acting in a Supplier role. In addition, BEIS has published the SVTAD for ECoS. BEIS is proposing to re-designate the OCP and to designate the SVTAD for ECoS on 28 July 2021.
To respond to the consultation, please answer the consultation questions in the covering letter and send them to smartmetering@beis.gov.uk by 5pm on 21 July 2021.
